Susan Goins is a contemporary artist who lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Self-taught, Susan returned to her passion for art in retirement from her successful business career and launched her next journey as a large-scale abstract artist.

Influenced by trends of minimalist home décor design and the Zen wellness culture, Susan strives to create works that provide calm and quiet beauty to living spaces.

Commenced in 2022, Awakening is Susan’s premier series, achieving gallery representation for her debut work, “Sugocha.”  Each work in the series represents a facet of rediscovering her creative personal power as an emerging artist.

The monochromatic works with muted tonal variations provide a place of repose in the living space.  Contrasting areas invite a more personal, up-close visual participation in their movement and suggestion of rich, subsurface textures.

Susan continues her work in large scale textured minimalism in the Luxe series, creating rich and vibrant hues balanced with the luminous allure of metallics. Each work achieves a contemporary elegance that fills the home space with glamour, sophistication and intensity.
